Palmour Palm
The Palmour Palm (Chamaedorea elegans) is a small palm tree with deep green foliage that grows slowly and thrives in bright indirect light and often grows in low light. Its an excellent air purifier, water the Palmour Palm sparingly as under water is better than overwatering. Allow the soil to begin to dry out between waterings and water less in winter. Although this palm will tolerate dry indoor air, it will be healthier with higher humidity. Misting once a week with room temperature water will keep the humidity up and keep the leaves clean. Growing from a terminal bud in attractive clumps cloaking thin trunks, do not prune this palm.
